The Variety Backyard Bash - Heading Off Again!
The car is packed. The route is set. And in just a week, on 9 August, I`ll be climbing back behind the wheel of Delma, my trusty 1979 Statesman, for my TENTH Variety Bash in support of Variety - the Children`s Charity.
For those who missed it previously, the Variety Bash is a six-day driving adventure through regional NSW raising money for kids who are sick, disadvantaged or living with disability. This year`s route takes us from Bella Vista through Mudgee, Dubbo, Griffith, Albury and Cowra, wrapping up in Bathurst on 14 August.
Previous years changed something in me. I`ve seen first-hand the incredible difference Variety makes to children and families doing it tough. Whether it`s mobility equipment, communication devices or specialised support, every dollar raised helps give kids the opportunities they deserve.
Last year, thanks to the incredible generosity of people just like you, my teamates "the Sharkies", & I raised more than $66,000. This year, we`re aiming to raise $30,000 before we hit the road on 9 August - and I`d love your help to get us there.

Site Update: Ulladulla
Troy & Lucy`s slab is down, which means their build is officially underway in Ulladulla!
They`ve chosen the Bridgewater design with a Hamptons facade, and honestly, the two go hand in hand. Clean lines, classic proportions, and that timeless coastal character that suits Ulladulla perfectly.
From here, the frame goes up and this project will really start to take shape. We can`t wait to see it come to life.
Troy & Lucy, it`s a privilege to be building your home for you. The best is still to come.

We`re looking for a Customer Care Coordinator to join our Shoalhaven team.
This is a permanent, full-time role for someone who genuinely loves looking after people. You`ll be the friendly, organised face of our aftercare service - working with clients after handover to make sure any rectification works are handled promptly, professionally, and with clear communication every step of the way.
If you have a background in customer service or administration, some familiarity with the residential construction industry, and you take real pride in making sure people feel looked after - we`d love to hear from you.
