Hi I’m Simon. My journey with G.J. Gardner began alongside my uncle David and his wife Irina. We opened the Goulburn office in 2018 due to our passion for the Goulburn area and wider regional NSW lifestyle, plus of course, our love of helping others build their dream homes.
After joining the G.J. Gardner network in Goulburn, we began recruiting experienced and expert trades from the local area, ensuring our workmanship was of the highest quality for every home we built.
Today, we have expanded our network into the Young region with our office being known for its versatility. Whether you are a first home buyer looking for an affordable modern home, a family who are looking to upgrade to an acreage home, a downsizer or even an investor, we have something to suit everyone.

Can I get the first home owner’s grant?
Cash is almost always a consideration when buying your own home for the first time. To help first-time buyers purchase a property, Australian state governments offer similar variations of a first home owners’ grant, when the correct circumstances are met. Depending on which state you are building in, this grant can range between $7,000 to $20,000. The grant is available when purchasing a new-build property, or on the cost of building a new home. The process of building with GJ Gardner was so much easier than I thought it would be. We were dealing with people that were friendly and caring about our situation. They were very good at their job and any changes to the plans were no problem. The workmanship is fantastic and we were able to use some local tradies which we appreciated. We nearly feel guilty as to how easy our build was.
We’ve been living in our G.J. Gardner home for about a month now and it’s fantastic. Our scheduled completion date has only just passed so it finished about a month ahead. The whole team to deal with were fantastic. We were sent updates on the house weekly (or whenever there was an update) and nothing we asked for or about was too much trouble. We always thought building would be stressful, but the G.J. team made the process a breeze. Big thanks to the team for our beautiful family home.
