Dual living is one of the most misunderstood ways to build. So we`re breaking down the questions we get asked most.
What actually is dual living?
Two separate, self-contained homes on the one title. Think of it as a main residence plus a second dwelling, each with its own entry, kitchen and living space.
Why are people building this way?
Flexibility. It might mean space for ageing parents, a place for adult kids to have their independence, or a second dwelling that brings in rental income down the track.
Does my block actually suit it?
It depends on block size, slope and council requirements in your area, which is exactly why a chat with your local team early on makes such a difference.

BEHIND YOUR BUILD: Katana Foundations Australia
Some trade relationships stand the test of time - and Katana Foundations Australia is proof of that.
Part of the G.J. Gardner family since 2014, Katana has been working alongside our team for well over a decade. And here`s a fun fact - they were one of the original sponsors of the Shark BASH Car. So the connection runs deeper than just the build site.
With a team of 53, including six in-house engineers, Katana designs, manufactures and installs Australian-made screw piles - helping our projects tackle tricky ground conditions and keep moving forward.
