The Federal Home Guarantee Scheme is a Government support program to support first home buyers to purchase with a low deposit (5%) without paying Lenders’ Mortgage Insurance (LMI). The scheme helps make home ownership more accessible and achievable for families.
To be eligible for the Home Guarantee Scheme, the combined purchase price for a new home build, including the vacant land and the home build contract, must not exceed the established property price cap for the location. If your property exceeds this maximum value will not qualify for the scheme.
