When building a new home, it’s important that new home builders not only compare their home builder’s level of service, experience and costs but to also study the list of inclusions offered. Comparing inclusions offered by at least three builders is one of the best ways to prepare your building budget, too.
At G.J. Gardner, we refer to our standard inclusions list as the ‘Classic Specification’. Clients are reminded, when looking at our inclusion lists, that these are starting point inclusions only. As contract home builders as opposed to project home builders, we are able to customise floor plans to suit our clients’ personal requirements. This means you have a choice of adding almost any option you wish.
When looking at inclusions, it’s a great time to lock in features that will hold their value and save you money in the long run, such as water and energy saving features and quality designs that use space cleverly. Many features that cost more upfront usually save a lot of money when maintenance, water and energy bills start arriving.
When comparing inclusions offered, ensure basic items such as Council Approval, Soil Testing, Construction Insurance and Termite Treatments and Dump Fees are included in the price you have been quoted.
While it may vary depending on specific local requirements, at G.J. Gardner we pride ourselves in offering the best quality inclusions. Many of our standard inclusions are not offered by other builders, such as our personal in-house design and colour selection process.
Simply click on ‘inclusions’ to find out more about which standard inclusions are offered, or contact you nearest G.J. Gardner office and speak to the builder directly.
