Creative Storage
Four creative storage ideas for the children’s room.
For something a little different, why not try these clever solutions to keep the kids clutter in check.
1. Spice racks for book storage.
Timber spice racks are a perfect alternative to a traditional bookshelf. They display books front-facing which allows easy access for the kids to choose their story book and can be tucked away behind a door or in a small space.
2. Wooden crates.
Wall hung wooden crates are a cute way to get that all-important shelving space for your child’s room.  Quirkier than a timber shelf, they can be painted any colour or left wooden and rustic for that more industrial look.
3. Fabric hanging shoe storage.
Cheap and cheerful, these hanging storage wonders are traditionally used for shoes but can be filled with any multitude of toys such as dolls, cars or even art supplies and they make great use of the wasted space behind the door.
4. Coat hooks and baskets.
A similar but softer alternative to the wooden crates, baskets hung from coat hooks on the wall can be filled with toys, clothes and craft supplies. They make a cute home for all the stuffed animals too.
