About G.J. Gardner Homes Fyshwick

We build on excellence, in everything, everyday

Desire a custom-built home in the nation’s capital? Require the services of a quality builder with flair and imagination? Then quit looking at countless display homes Canberra and contact the professional team at G.J. Gardner Homes in the Australian Capital Territory (A.C.T.).

The G.J. Gardner Homes franchise in the A.C.T. is renowned for its exceptional customer service, quality workmanship and cutting-edge design. It specialises in custom-designed homes, knockdown-rebuilds and display homes Canberra. The franchise owners, David and Suzanne Norman, are people you can trust. David has worked as a successful builder for over 30 years, whilst Suzanne comes from a people-centric background in the health sector. They’re great advocates of the Territory lifestyle, which blends the convenience of a city with the friendly atmosphere of a country town.

The A.C.T. covers an area of 2,358 square kilometres and is home to Canberra – the capital city of Australia. Canberra is a thriving city with first-class facilities, clean air and a well-educated workforce (many Canberrans work in the Australian Public Service). The city has many famous landmarks and monuments, including Parliament House, the Australian War Memorial, Lake Burley Griffin, the National Library, Questacon, the High Court, and the National Gallery of Australia. The climate in the A.C.T. is generally hot in summer and very cold in winter – a reason why many G.J. Gardner display homes Canberra have heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.

To the south-west of Canberra lies Namadgi National Park, which represents 46 per cent of the A.C.T.'s land area. Namadgi National Park is popular with bushwalkers, campers, birdwatchers, horse riders, mountain bikers and cross-country skiers (in the winter). It features 160 kilometres of marked walking tracks, along with many examples of Aboriginal rock art. In winter, snow falls on the Park’s highest peak, Mount Bimberi (1,913 metres), which is part of the Brindabella Ranges. Although there isn’t a Canberra display village near the Namadgi National Park, G.J. Gardner Homes has been building quality homes in the southern suburbs of Canberra for many years.
