Bradnams and G. J. Gardner Homes: a classy collaboration

One of the most inspiring business-charity partnerships is about to wrap up on the NSW South Coast. G. J. Gardner Homes and the children’s charity Variety have formed a creative alliance to raise a significant amount of money for this wonderful charitable organisation. It all began when Bruce McDonald, a local developer, donated a block of land to Variety and the charity sought to maximise its potential. G. J. Gardner Homes were soon on board pledging to build a house on the land and use their extensive network of trades and other suppliers to fit out the house.
The local tradies and suppliers of new home products were soon keen to be involved and the project started to take shape. Variety had a new home on a block of land in a desirable location which they could sell to raise a large amount of money, all of which would go to support Australian children who are sick, disadvantaged or have special needs. This month the house will be auctioned and an almost year-long project will come to an end. The support of the many organisations involved has been crucial to its success, this includes the suppliers of the fittings for the home.
Fittings for G. J. Gardner homes have to fulfil three key requirements: be long lasting, hard wearing and good looking. So a partnership between Bradnam's Windows & Doors, one of Australia's most respected designers, manufacturers and suppliers of aluminium and glass building products for both residential and commercial applications and G. J. Gardner was a natural fit. The company has generously supported our major charity project fitting the house with its comprehensive range of windows, doors, shower screens, mirrors and wardrobes.
Established in 1977 by Bill and Jan Bradnam, the company has 17 branches and a licensee network of 45 fabricators throughout Australia and the South Pacific region. This makes it one of the largest aluminium and glass building products company in Australia and sees the company creating manufacturing factories, glass factories, metal distribution centres, a NATA approved testing rig, sales offices and showrooms along Australia's east coast.
In recent years, Bradnam's has made significant investments in the research and development of high performance systems to accommodate energy, acoustic, bushfire, cyclonic and security requirements in the industry. A wholly Australian-owned private company, Bradnam's is an innovative, progressive company at the forefront of delivering the highest standards in product solutions and customer service.
