Food and wine will play a big part in this year’s G.J. Gardner Home & Leisure Show in Tamworth with the incorporation again of the New England North West Food & Wine Fair.
Numerous dedicated exhibitors will make up the Food & Wine Fair presenting a showcase of “delectable fare” for visitors, according to a spokesman for organisers Rural Press Events.
“Included are Antilles Coffee, Boorolong Road Estate, Glenhoya Estate, Hawaiian Shave Ice, Melville Hill Estate, Mountain Fresh Berries, Reedy Creek Estate Wines, SSS BBQ Barn Tamworth, Talgai Olives, The Dinki-Di Fudge Man, Thomas New England Estate Wines, Why Worry Wines and Windmill Hill Estate Wines just to name a few.
“This special showcase provides a chance for local specialty food and wine retailers, restaurateurs, chefs, sommeliers, food and beverage managers, caterers and the general public to sample some of the best produce, food and wine from the northern NSW region.”
The 2008 G.J. Gardner Home & Leisure Show – incorporating the New England North West Food & Wine Fair – will be held at the Tamworth Regional Entertainment & Conference Centre (TRECC) on Saturday and Sunday, October 18 and 19. Public admission is free.
